By using our website, you confirm that you accept our Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
Live and Stay reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. The updated version of these Terms and Conditions is available on the website.
Making a reservation implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Reservations
Reservations made with Live and Stay, via the website, by telephone, by email, in person or through Online Travel Agencies (OTA), must be guaranteed. Payment must be made at the time of booking.
The reservation price is per night and per occupancy, and may vary depending on the time of year.
Occupation
The accommodations have a capacity for 3, 4 and/or 5 guests, depending on their type, and it is mandatory that one of the guests is 18 years old or over, who will be responsible and supervisor of minors at all times of your stay.
All requests for additional occupancy must be made at the time of booking, or later by telephone or in writing, always in accordance with the availability of the selected accommodation. Any changes regarding additional occupancy of the accommodation are subject to Live and Stay ‘s availability at that time.
Live and Stay offers cots for children under 2 years of age, which must be requested at the time of booking and subject to availability.
Under no circumstances may the maximum number of occupants established in each accommodation be exceeded.
Payment
Payment can be made by MBWay, via ATM reference, debit or credit card and bank transfer.
If you choose to make payment via bank transfer, you will have 24 hours to do so and send us proof of payment. Live and Stay will cancel the reservation if this deadline is not met.
For reservations for the same day or 24 hours in advance, payment by bank transfer will not be accepted.
After payment confirmation, the reservation will be confirmed, by any of the following means: email; WhatsApp; SMS or phone.
Check-in / Check-out
Live and Stay does not have a reception, therefore it is recommended that you communicate your arrival time at least 24 hours in advance.
Check-in
Check-in is done in person between 3pm and 8pm.
To speed up the check-in process, a link will be sent in advance, asking all guests to fill out a form to identify them.
To comply with the legal provisions for the registration of foreigners and for security reasons, we will record the details of all guests (including minors) at the time of check-in, so they must present a legal identification document with a photograph.
Early check-in
It is made on request at the time of booking and subject to availability.
Check-out
Check-out is until 11:00 am, so the accommodation must be completely unoccupied by 11:00 am on the day of departure.
Late check-out
Always subject to request. In case of availability, an additional cost may be requested.
Pets
No animals of any kind, even pets, are allowed, with the exception of guide dogs (assistance dogs for people with audiovisual disabilities).
Additional Information
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. In accommodations where there is a terrace or balcony, it is possible to smoke there. The door to the terrace or balcony must be kept closed while smoking.
Out of respect and concern for the rest of other guests and neighbours, noisy behaviour is not accepted between 10pm and 8am.
It is not permitted to hold any type of party or gathering of people that exceeds the accommodation’s occupant limit.
In the event of a complaint from other guests or neighbours regarding excessive noise, or if it is necessary to call the police, Live and Stay has the right to invite guests and companions to leave the accommodation immediately. In this case, the guest will not be entitled to a refund of any amount contracted for the reservation.
Materials, equipment, towels, kitchen utensils and crockery or any other item made available to guests in each accommodation must not be removed or moved from the accommodation during and after their stay. In the event that this occurs, the guest is responsible for paying in full for the missing items.
Under no circumstances can the reserved accommodation be made available, rented, sublet, in whole or in part, to any individual or entity that has not made the reservation directly with Live and Stay.
The guest must facilitate and allow access to the accommodation by Live and -Stay, or any entity indicated by it, during their stay and before the end of the reservation, in case any type of urgent intervention or repair is necessary, or any situations or problems that the guest reports within the accommodation.
Guests must ensure that after checking out, the accommodation is left in the same condition as when they found it during check-in.
Limitation of Liability
Live and Stay is not responsible for the inactivity of the fiber service (internet and TV), lack of water or electricity failure, as the services are provided by external operators.
To prevent fires and other accidents that could endanger the safety and health of other guests and neighbours, guests must take basic safety rules into consideration.
It is advisable to check all doors and windows before leaving the accommodation. Guests are responsible for damages caused by themselves or any other person who enters the accommodation due to their negligent behaviour or in common areas.
The accommodation does not have a parking lot, so Live and Stay cannot be held responsible for any damage to guests’ vehicles parked in places adjacent to the accommodation.
Live and Stay cannot be held responsible for the loss of property, theft or damage to guests’ personal objects, particularly electronic equipment.
Live and Stay is not responsible for any illness, injury or death of people staying at the accommodation or visiting the properties or for any other incident of any nature involving any customer, nor during travel to or from the accommodation.
Live and Stay cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to private or business property.
Cancellation Policy
The customer is responsible for communicating any change to the reservation, namely, change in the number of occupants or cancellation before the arrival date. Requests to change reservations are subject to availability. It must be done in writing, to the email: reservas@liveandstay.pt, indicating the reservation made and the respective date of change.
Reservations can be cancelled up to 14 days before the check-in date. Without prejudice to cancellation, during the indicated period, 20% of the total reservation value will be retained to cover administrative costs.
In case of early departure, i.e. check-out, before the reservation end date, the guest will not be entitled to any refund.
Live and Stay has the right to cancel any reservation if the accommodation reserved does not have the necessary conditions for the stay to take place. This may occur due to technical failure, natural disaster, riots or any other situation beyond the control of Live and Stay. If this occurs, all facts must be communicated immediately to the guest, who will receive a refund for the reservation made. Live and Stay cannot be held responsible for any other costs to the guest arising from such cancellation.
